Puchheim is a growing and prosperous municipality. Located just a few kilometers west of Munich, it offers an excellent infrastructure and a wide range of recreational activities. The diverse cultural offerings also provide a high recreational value and variety in everyday life. In addition, you can quickly reach the recreational activities of the southern Munich surrounding area as well as the mountains. This residential location offers you an outstanding quality of life.

The municipality of Puchheim is characterized by the highest tax capacity in the district. More than 2,200 commercial enterprises are located in the municipality. The companies Scanlab and Alphalaser from the optics and laser industry, as well as the medical technology company First Sensor, contribute significantly to the municipality's economic strength and provide jobs.

A new city center for Puchheim was to be created at the corner of Bahnhofstraße and Adenauerstraße. This space was to accommodate a city library, music school, and adult education center with associated outdoor areas. In addition, the renovation of schools is planned.
